


Beginner Knitting Class | October 16
Event Details
This beginner-friendly class is perfect if you’d like to try knitting and see if it’s the hobby for you. You’ll learn the basics: casting on, the knit stitch, and how to bind off.
Attendees will need to bring: 10-inch straight knitting needles in either metal or plastic, but no wood or bamboo. A skein of #4 worsted-weight yarn in a light or medium value color. Scissors would be helpful.

Linda Pietz
Your instructor for this class is Linda Pietz. Linda has a fine arts degree and teaching credentials in fine arts, arts and crafts, and primary and secondary education. She has taught knitting for over fifty years, working with young children up through adults. Linda has co-authored two books on knitting and has knitted since age four.
